Piping & Drumming Tuition Beginning on Tuesday 7th February
Following on from the success of the Highland Bagpipe Tuition held in
2011, Drumlough Highland Pipe Band is happy to announce that it is
holding further bagpipe tuition classes this year. Furthermore, we are
delighted to be able to add Drumming Tuition to the program of learning
for this year.
The Highland Bagpipe Tuition will run every
Tuesday night for a period of 20 weeks beginning on Tuesday 7th February
2012. It will take place in the newly refurbished Drumlough Orange Hall
from 7:30pm to 9:30pm each night.
The associated Drumming
Tuition will run every Wednesday night for a period of 20 weeks
beginning on Wednesday 8th February 2012. It will also take place in
Drumlough Orange Hall from 7:30pm to 9:00pm each night.
The
tuition is open to all within the local community, and everyone will be
made very welcome. Light refreshments will also be provided.
The
cost to the participants has been kept to a minimum of 50p per night
thanks to funding support provided by the Ulster-Scots Agency. The band
is very grateful for this funding as without it we would have been
unable to run the tuition.
The tuition will be aimed at providing
a structured program of learning to new learners and also those wishing
to improve on any basic skills they may already have.
